Christmas in Canby

I'm standing in front of the fireplace looking at the kitchen/dinning area. We have a door out of the eating area that goes outside to alittle covered porch and then a nice grass yard to play catch with Bode in. I feel so blessed to have such a warm and cozy home in Canby, Oregon. Won't you all come visit real soon? Hugs

This is the view standing in front of the Christmas tree. You can see the front door straight ahead and the kitchen to the right. To the left of the front door is our den/office.

This is what I get to see while working at the kitchen sink. Not too bad with the new big TV that Santa brought us this year.

Here is the view of the great room coming down the stairs. We love our new home and feel really comfortable in it. Can't wait to show you around!

Waiting for the U-Hall Truck

Last day on Fir Grove Road. Had a great team of men come to help us load the truck and then another great team at the other end in Canby. So grateful for welling helping hands. It sure made our work alot lighter. Thanks Men!

The Grandkids Favorite Tree

This was the tree on the farm that all the grandkids loved to climb in and hide. This last fall as we were moving it really put on a show of colors one last time for us to enjoy. Hugs to All

A Christmas Treat

Bake in the oven at 250*F for 4-5 minutes (no longer).
When you remove them from the oven, the Rolo will still be in the same shape as when it went in the oven. Place a pecan half on top of the Rolo and press down a bit.
Top each of the Rolo with one pecan half.
Place the entire baking sheet in the freezer for about 5-7 minutes to allow the Rolo to cool.
Remove from freezer and enjoy! Or place in a container to enjoy later. These will last several days- probably more, but they've never lasted that long in our house!

These are so delicious! A great sweet-salty combo.
Enjoy!
(Jody wanted this recipe so I'm surprising her and making it easy for her to find, msk.)

We're Moving

Good bye to a home that has given this family many precious and dear memories.
