Got Things Done Today

Summer has been busy with putting up fruit for the winter. Cherries are pitted and frozen. Today Ed helped with putting the black berry's on cookie sheets to freeze then we bagged them in small freezer bags. Canned 18 quarts of peaches, ate several and saved a few for homemade fresh peach ice cream for our family dinner tomorrow. Picked up 25 lbs. of pears today and waiting for them to ripen so I can slice and dry them. Love this time of year and the season of my life! Hugs
